Experience with FME software and excellent database skills.Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex dialogue in language relevant to the audienceA valid NSW Driver's license and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight staysAbout the role This role is primarily responsible for the coordination and delivery of specialist spatial services and data management for a range of high-profile GIS projects being led by NSW Public Works on behalf of various government agencies. The GIS Analyst and Data Coordinator will be the main point of contact for these projects and will be expected to manage multiple projects while working closely with the Senior Manager of the Spatial Team. You will be required to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders across government and private enterprises to obtain and disseminate data, provide training to GIS users, and demonstrate GIS capability to a wide range of stakeholders.
This role will lead a professional team of GIS Analysts who will assist in delivering quality GIS products and data to teams and stakeholders across government. You will assist in promoting and growing the use of Spatial technology across NSW government and assist in the expansion of this service line for new and existing NSW Public Works clients.
