About the role ARC (The Australian Reinforcing Company) has an exciting opportunity for a Despatch Coordinator at our Corio branch. This critical role ensures that our reinforcing steel products reach customers efficiently and safely.
In this make-to-order environment, you'll oversee despatch planning to optimize service levels and customer satisfaction while upholding our rigorous safety and quality standards. Leveraging your experience in despatch planning, scheduling, and prioritization, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth and effective production and delivery workflows.
Due to the nature of this role, it will be based on site, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Key responsibilities:
Establish a daily delivery plan for external and internal customers Coordinate the daily delivery plan to ensure site outward freight budgeted cost and DIFOT KPI's are met Liaise between customers and operational team members to ensure the daily delivery plan and timeframes will be fulfilled Complete weekly load restraint audits and assist with the site's transport safety chain of responsibilities Documentation control including verification and recording of customer deliveries including PO receipting, QC documentation, delivery dockets Support in order creation and tracking of fleet vehicles as required Produce and organize loading paperwork and driver manifests We are looking for a proactive individual with problem-solving abilities. This person will enjoy working in a team, be highly organized, and have a strong attention to detail.
You also have:
Prior experience in Manufacturing, Production, Transport, or Logistics is preferred A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a commitment to take ownership and be accountable Experience with scheduling delivery sequences efficiently and safely Strong decision-making skills and ability to learn quickly Excellent communication skills and strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels A "Safety First" mentality as a core value in every aspect of work Driven, decisive, and focused on achieving results Familiarity with systems such as ARMA, ProMISE, or Syntax is desirable Key Benefits Below are some of our key central benefits available to InfraBuild employees.
