Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will provide geotechnical planning, advice and operational support for Longwall, Development and Outbye activities. As a member of the Technical Services team, you will gain substantial exposure and experience in a broad range of operational activities across Oaky North Mine.
This role requires you to develop strong working relationships with operations personnel as well as with external subject matter experts and other stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing Geotechnical advice to the Longwall/ Development and Outbye TeamsProvide on shift technical support as requiredCarryout inspections and ensure support standards are met in all areasApply site and GCAA framework guidelines to provide suitable geotechnical advice and plansProvide primary / secondary and remedial support plansWork closely with the site Geologist to provide details for the 1st/ 2nd workings and associated hazard plansAbout you:
