SLR Consulting Wollongong is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our vibrant local Geotechnics team.
Our team is unique in its exposure to a diverse range of projects.
On any one day you may be working on a landslide, pile foundation or walking the crest of tailings storage facility.

With 25 staff in our office (and counting), our local team are technically diverse and range from Graduates to Principals.

Key Responsibilities:

The position offers the opportunity to:
Work across multiple industries which include mining and resources, dams, tailings, roads, rail, civil and industrial.
Work on a variety of interesting projects, undertaking a range of technical tasks, including: Geotechnical design (retaining walls, foundations, pavements, piles etc) Ground Characterisation Terrain Evaluation Landslide / Slope Risk Assessment Slope Stability Analysis Ground Improvement and Remediation Design Construction and Project Management Undertake geotechnical analyses Learn from a diverse range of technical experts.
Build the confidence to challenge the norm with the objective of continuous improvement.
Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following attributes and experience:
2-6 years' hands-on experience with tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
Experience in the Consulting industry and aspirations to build your career in this sector.
Ability to work in the field as well as interests in developing your technical skills.
Demonstrated technical autonomy working across multiple sectors.
A team player who will enjoy contributing to our proud "One Team" culture at SLR.
Well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills.
