The Role
The position of Community Engagement Advisor is a pivotal role within the organisation. It is responsible for facilitating a partnership with a local service provider appointed to deliver a series of community functions and activities. This position will also involve planning and facilitating community services initiatives, moving forward.
Responsibilities: Facilitate the delivery of innovative programs and events using a community development approach. Promote company services, events and activities to support participation and engagement of community. Facilitate information sharing and connection with local support services relevant to the project. Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, service and delivery agencies and stakeholder groups. Attend to administrative matters pertaining to the company's project including support with day-to-day operational matters such as correspondence, stakeholder interaction and records management. Ability to work as part of a team to deliver positive outcomes for the company, project and community. Scope Of Work: Development and delivery of a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy for the program of work, and a tactical communication and engagement plan for the project. Defined aspects of the project's communications with impacted residents, businesses and stakeholders. Liaising with communities and stakeholders. Monitoring and managing complaints and enquiries. Evaluating the quality and effectiveness of the Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
