General Tradesperson

We are committed to supporting our team and ensuring safe & reliable services to our partner – Goodstart Early Learning.The OpportunityIn this role, you will be responsible for providing general maintenance services across multiple early learning centres. You will work autonomously to maintain high standards across your stores, provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships.Your cluster will be based in Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales, including but not limited to Byron Bay, Tweed Head, Burleigh Waters and Benowa.Your key responsibilities will include:Provide repairs and maintenance services for your Goodstart Early Learning centres.Work without supervision to proactively anticipate and resolve issues.Be an effective communicator and develop strong partnerships.Adhere to all City Health and Safety (Think Safe) policies and procedures.Work across multiple disciplines, including carpentry, joinery, shopfitting, plastering, painting, and tiling.To be considered for this role you will have / be:Trade qualification in Carpentry, or similar field.Valid driver's licence.Current Working with Children Check or willing to obtain.Currently have or be willing to obtain 3 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.Carpentry Licence; Contractor Grade, Nominee Supervisor Grade or Site Supervisor Grade – Preferred.*The position requires the successful candidate to conduct a pre-employment medical and a police check.*If you would like the opportunity to be part of a growing Australian Facilities Management business, we would love to hear from you.City is an Equal Opportunity Employer who supports and encourages the diverse needs of each individual Team Member.
