Role & Responsibilities Provide primary medical care to patients with a focus on neuro and spine conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management.Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history evaluations, physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgeons, orthopaedic spinal surgeons, physiotherapists, psychologists, and pain management specialists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans and coordinate patient care.Offer education to patients regarding their neuro and spine conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.Provide referrals to our team of specialists when necessary and facilitate timely communication and follow-up with consultants.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.Stay abreast of the latest research, guidelines, and advancements in neuro and spine conditions to ensure the delivery of evidence-based and high-quality care.Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to foster collaboration and enhance professional development.Requirements Medical degree and current registration with AHPRA as a General Practitioner.Postgraduate training or experience in neurology, neurosurgery, or spine medicine is highly desirable.Current rights to work in Australia (Australian or New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent resident).Demonstrated interest and expertise in managing neuro and spine-related health conditions.Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to formulate accurate treatment plans.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.Commitment to providing patient-centred care, ongoing professional development, and continuous learning.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.We offer a highly competitive remuneration package commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
