You will lead a large team, develop strategic plans, and work closely with senior leadership to drive growth and improve service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with a passion for logistics, innovation, and business development.Key Responsibilities:Oversee day-to-day transport operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of servicesDevelop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitabilityLead, mentor, and manage a large team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountabilityEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation, health & safety, and environmental standardsBuild and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and suppliersDrive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performanceManage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the transport divisionCollaborate with senior leadership on business development and strategic growth plansKey Requirements:Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role within the transport/logistics sectorStrong leadership and team management skillsIn-depth knowledge of transport regulations, compliance, and health & safety standardsDemonstrated success in operational efficiency, business development, and profitabilityExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesFinancial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L
