Our client is looking for a General Manager - Sales to help lay the foundations of success, decking out their Sydney-based wholesale business and run their National sales team.

This is a newly created role, so you'll have a clean slate—ready to screen out the competition and build a premium structure that will last for years to come!

Our client is a leader in outdoor products that are tough as nails and perfect for the Australian outdoors. Think durable fencing, stunning decking, and lighting that will make you shine like a floodlight at a BBQ.

This isn't just any role; it's a role that's all about building relationships, laying the groundwork for growth, and fencing in those big wins.

What's the GM- Sales responsible for? Strategic planning – You'll create sales blueprints that will weather any storm and stand the test of time.Leadership – Guide the sales team like a well-lit pathway, keeping them aligned with the company's goals.Client relations – Fence in key national customers and ensure our outdoor products are lighting up their world.Sales growth – Develop and implement sales plans that raise the stakes higher than a timber deck on a summer day!Sales budgets – Keep those financial plans as sturdy as our premium fencing panels. Key Skills Needed to Make You the Ruler of This Outdoor Kingdom: You've got more experience with sales leadership than our clients has decking designs.You're no stranger to business acumen — you know how to budget and keep things level.Got a deep understanding of marketing strategies? You'll need that to screen in the best customers!CRM wizardry? That's a plus. Help them build a CRM system that's stronger than their steel fencing.You believe in your presentation being professional yet approachable, presenting as professionally as the products you represent. What You'll Be Building (pun intended): A sales team that's solid as oak and sharp as a post, including further developing the existing team.A reputation for delivering top-quality outdoor products designed for the Aussie lifestyle.Long-lasting relationships with distributors and key customers—because our client doesn't believe in quick fixes.
