Established in 1972, Warrina Homes is a leading not-for-profit Aged Care provider in Adelaide, South Australia with historic presence in the North-Eastern suburbs.
Recent expansion into the Southern suburbs with the acquisition of Warrina Vales in Morphett Vale, has created an opportunity for a seasoned General Manager Residential Services to join the dynamic Leadership team.

Reporting to the Executive Manager Residential Services (EMRS), this senior leadership position is responsible for the management of the 180-bed Residential Aged Care Facility.
Key responsibilities include:
providing hands-on leadership and management of the site to ensure the delivery of quality care and services to residents and their families;actively leading, managing, supporting and developing the dedicated site care team and promoting a culture of service quality;ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Standards, legislative requirements and Warrina Homes' policies and procedures when delivering care;identifying and driving opportunities for improvement and supporting the organisation's continuous improvement plan;in collaboration with the EMRS and admissions management, striving to achieve and maintain occupancy targets;monitoring and managing the site budget.Applications from individuals with relevant experience and Registered Nurse AHPRA registration are welcome.
Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation abilities, a solution focussed approach, a commitment to service excellence and a warm, open and understanding demeanour will also be required.
A passion for the care of elderly people will be essential as will empathy with the Christian ethos of the organisation.
Experience working in a similar Aged Care managerial role is desired.
