The Australasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine (ACPSEM) is seeking an experienced General Manager Operations to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with the CEO and make a significant impact on our mission and strategic goals.About Us:ACPSEM is a peak body association representing medical physics practitioners in Australia and New Zealand. We are a member organisation with an aim to support members by enhancing their ability to provide innovative, safe and effective health care through quality training and professional development opportunities.The Role:As the General Manager Operations, you will oversee a wide range of strategic and operational functions, including policy and procedure management, strategic planning, governance and compliance, membership coordination, and team collaboration. You will provide strategic oversight to our education team and our membership and communications team and act as a key liaison with stakeholders to ensure our programs align with their needs and expectations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and maintenance of ACPSEM policies and procedures.Drive strategic planning and performance management initiatives.Ensure compliance with governance standards and maintain accurate records.Oversee membership processes and coordinate key projects.Foster a collaborative team environment and support organisational goals.Provide strategic direction for the education team and engage with stakeholders.What We Offer:The opportunity to work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team.A collaborative and supportive work environment.The chance to make a real difference in the field of medical physics and engineering.Minimum Requirements:Proven extensive experience in a leadership role, preferably within a member-based organisation.Proven track record in governance, compliance, and performance management.Demonstrated strong project management and administrative skills with experience in Government contracts and reporting.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong change management skills with the ability to problem solve.Strategic thinker with a passion for driving organisational success.Experience in the medical physics, biomedical engineering, or radiopharmaceutical science fields is highly desirable.Membership organisation experience highly desirable.Ready to Apply?
