They are continuing to expand and are seeking an experienced General Manager Operations to join the tight-knit team.
As General Manager of Operations, you will oversee the manufacturing, production, and installation functions, ensuring high standards and efficiency across VIC, SA, QLD, and NSW.
This pivotal role will focus on optimising processes and fostering a customer-centric approach to drive sustained operational success and profitability.
Reporting directly to the executive team, you'll be a key contributor to our strategic vision, aligning operations with company objectives and enhancing our market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership: Shape and implement the national operations strategy, focusing on efficiency, quality, and best practices.
Team Development: Mentor state managers to build high-performing, collaborative teams.
Manufacturing Excellence: Drive lean improvements and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Customer-Centric Operations: Align production with client needs, building strong customer relationships.
Financial Management: Oversee budgets and control costs, reporting on financial outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in senior operational roles within manufacturing.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster high-performing, collaborative teams.
A proactive, innovative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Sound understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial management.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and other operational excellence practices is highly regarded.
