Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager of Marketing to lead our marketing function.
This key role requires a strategic thinker who can manage a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, including membership growth, RTO marketing, all communication initiatives, developing marketing strategies, and team leadership.
As the General Manager of Marketing, you will oversee the MTA NSW Group's brand and marketing strategies to ensure long-term growth and profitability.
This role is crucial in enhancing the organisation's market presence and continued success, and requires:
Leadership: Guide, develop, and inspire your team, ensuring they meet departmental goals and perform at their best.
Provide clear direction to foster accountability and professional development.
Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the CEO, Management Team, and key stakeholders to design and implement annual marketing programs across consumer, business, digital, events, and content channels.
Identify new growth opportunities and develop value-adding, revenue-generating initiatives.
Strategic Marketing Programs: Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with our organisation's mission and objectives, ensuring consistency across service areas.
Enhance MTA NSW Group's brand reputation and drive business growth across all areas.
Brand Ownership: Develop brand strategies that strengthen MTA NSW Group's position in key markets.
Align marketing initiatives with the brand's identity to drive impactful engagement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives.
Research and pursue applicable grant funding opportunities from Local, State, and Federal Governments.
Customer Analysis and Reporting: Oversee the analysis of customer behaviour, metrics, and insights across digital channels (website, app, email, and social media).
Leverage this data to shape marketing strategies and enhance customer experiences.
Website Content: Ensure website content is well-planned and managed to enhance user experience, drive engagement, and increase sales.
Budget Management: Work closely with Finance and stakeholders to develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources, including agency expenditure.
