Reporting to the Executive General Manager, Business Operations, SeaLink, the General Manager, Northern Territory is responsible for the effective management and leadership of the Northern Territory operations including marine and bus operations, sales and marketing, fleet maintenance, people leadership, financial management, strategy and business growth, risk and safety management and customer and corporate support.
The role requires strong, effective and consistent leadership and strong management of the performance of the business. Integral to the role is the requirement to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
About You
To be effective in this role, you will be commercially astute and have extensive leadership experience. You will also have a proven track record in negotiating and managing partnership agreements.
You Will Also Have The Following High level interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with othersExperience in managing a commercial businessStrong financial management experienceStrong negotiation skillsExperience in strategic planning and business plan implementationSound knowledge of the political processes that may impact the businessExperience in dealing with the mediaCrisis management experiencePrevious knowledge and experience in managing a business with a strong focus on safety and risk
Experience in the tourism industry will be well regarded.
