General Manager – Mission

Details of the offer

We are seeking a General Manager – Mission who will be passionate about the Company Mission Statement:
"Our mission is to provide high quality education, through an authentic Adventist context; by focusing on the provision of quality teachers, an innovative and expansive curricula program and a safe and engaging school community experience."
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

Model and nurture an active relationship with Jesus and be a baptised, practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
An understanding and commitment to the purpose and ethos of Adventist Education as described by Adventist Schools Australia
Portraying and advocating for Adventist Identity
Participate in, and give leadership to the development of company operational mission plans in line with the company mission strategic plan.
Provide support and supervision for Chaplains employed by the Company in consultation with their line managers (Principals)
Develop Meta data reporting tools for both real-time live reporting and quarterly/annual reporting about spiritual outcomes for schools – Principals, Chaplains, and Staff.
Provide regular strategic and Key Performance Indicator Reports to the company board of directors.
Have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to maintain professional relations with the Executive team, the Consultants, and the local school leadership teams.
Be able to work to deadlines and under pressure.
Oversee a monthly Company e-newsletter with a focus on mission
Model a good work ethic and attention to detail to the applicable personnel.
Develop and maintain a Social Media presence for the company – mission videos, baptism reports, testimonies, media, and music.
Must have a current driver's license.
Committed to child safety by providing a safe culture, safe operations, and a safe environment. Only applicants with a Working With Children Check (WWCC) will be considered for this role.
Legally able to work in Australia.
