About the Marketing, Communications and Corporate Development Team Marketing, Communications and Corporate Development is responsible for:
Overall brand, marketing campaigns and corporate communications to achieve and exceed the organisation's strategic goals. Delivery of the internal communications strategy and plan aligned to LiveBetter's Strategic Plan, annual Business Plan, and the organisation's transformation agenda. Assist in the delivery of CEO and board priorities including fundraising and strategic business development growth. Developing partnerships with complementary organisations to help the organisation deliver on its purpose. Management of external relationships, including philanthropic and delivery partners, government and media. About the General Manager Marketing, Communications and Corporate Development Role As a member of the senior leadership team, the General Manager Marketing, Communications and Corporate Development will utilise high level leadership and management capabilities to ensure strategic alignment and to effectively lead, manage and develop members of the Marketing, Communications and Corporate Development Team. The General Manager Marketing, Communications and Corporate Development will encourage an organisation-wide commitment to quality by leading customer-centric development initiatives, building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and empowering staff by recognising the importance of individual contributions.
Some key accountabilities of this role will include :
Leadership, vision and strategic direction of the Marketing and Communications Teams: planning, leading and managing the teams to achieve and exceed strategic goals. Strategic and Operational Planning: Focusing on organisational growth and customer satisfaction, develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy. Client Service Marketing: Ensure marketing plans are implemented across multiple channels to increase the value of the message to the customer. Partnering and advising the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to develop and deliver LiveBetter's Internal Communications Strategy – engaging the workforce and other stakeholders in support of customer focus, change, performance and growth. Building and maintaining relationships with all external stakeholders, including media, government, philanthropic and delivery partners. What LiveBetter needs from you We would love to hear from you if you have high level leadership and management experience leading and/or influencing the development of strategic action plans to support the goals of an organisation. You will also have qualifications and training in the Marketing, Communications, Arts and/or relevant business discipline.
To be successful in this role, you will also have these key skills/experience:
Well-developed negotiation and influencing capabilities to effectively influence stakeholders, foster collaborative relationships, resolve complex issues, and achieve sustainable outcomes. Well-developed analytical skills to lead research and analysis of complex matters and prepare expert and influential recommendations to address business risks, growth and/or improvement. Strong strategic planning and financial management skills, with established business development and marketing experience applied to support organisational objectives. Outstanding leadership and people management skills with proven experience in motivating staff members and senior leadership groups to achieve organisational objectives. High quality communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead and work collaboratively as a member of a diverse team. The role may involve occasional travel, including overnight stays so a current Australian Driver Licence is essential.
