General Manager | The Vicar - DuralWith a portfolio of iconic venues, Whitehouse Property Group is a family-run Hotel Group, and The Vicar – Dural is looking for a General Manager/Licensee to lead this recently re-developed large-scale venue in the heart of The Hills.THE OPPORTUNITYThe role of the General Manager/Licensee is to lead and coordinate all aspects of venue management and to support department managers and their teams to deliver genuine hospitality and service excellence while also meeting business goals. The Vicar is a community-focused multi-faceted venue with a range of offerings to further develop your skills.Reporting to the Group General Manager, you are responsible for but not limited to:Accountability for achieving all revenue targets and having an agile approach to managing the business to ensure these targets are met.Strictly adhere to and enforce all company policies to ensure the business is run effectively and efficiently including compliance obligations.Deliver all HR requirements for the business, including training, coaching and developing talent pipelines for all leadership roles.Oversee all operational requirements of the business including marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales and events, and cash management.WHO ARE YOUAs a driven, passionate and focused individual, you will possess the following attributes and skills:Minimum 3+ years' experience in a GM capacity in a high-volume venue.Strong background from operational Food & Beverage venues.Immaculate presentation paralleled with hands-on service delivery.Passion for developing large teams and strong team player.Confident in 'managing up' and influential communicator.Excellent business & financial acumen.This is a strong, hands-on role, leading and motivating from the front where your experience requires thinking on your feet to meet the multitude of operational service standards in a high-volume venue and diverse service offerings.CULTURE & BENEFITSWith our people at the heart of our business, we offer training, development & all the necessary tools to be set up for success.
