This role requires a strong strategic leader who can ensure business growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and alignment with MINISO's global standards. The General Manager will lead the company's expansion and ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence throughout Australia.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Business PlanningDevelop and implement strategies to drive growth, market share, and profitability for the Australian business.Align local operations with the global vision, focusing on 'extreme affordability' and 'interest-based consumption.'Formulate and execute policies, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.Evaluate evolving situations and respond appropriately by providing guidance and directives.Operational OversightManage day-to-day operations, including store management, supply chain, marketing, and customer service.Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing expenses to meet financial targets.Ensure high levels of operational efficiency and maintain store standards to reflect the MINISO brand.Brand Management & MarketingWork closely with marketing teams to execute local marketing campaigns that align with MINISO's global strategies.Represent the organization at official events, during negotiations, at conventions, seminars, public hearings, and forums.Drive collaboration with local influencers, organizations, and brand partnerships to enhance brand visibility and relevance.Ensure the successful introduction of new products, seasonal trends, and innovative designs to the Australian market.People ManagementLead and mentor a team of senior managers, store managers, and staff across Australia.Develop a strong company culture that reflects MINISO's commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.Oversee talent acquisition, training, and development to build a highly motivated and effective workforce.Key Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's or higher degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior management roles within the retail industry, ideally in FMCG or variety store environments.Proficiency in Chinese as a working language is essential.Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and operational management.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams, motivate staff, and drive a positive work culture.Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L statements.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Deep understanding of the Australian retail market, consumer behaviors, and regulatory landscape.Ability to adapt global strategies to fit the local market while maintaining the integrity of the brand.
