The group also owns one premium winery in Ningxia, one Baijiu distillery in Maotai, and one bottling site in Yantai, which are all located in China.More than 10 operation centers and offices located in Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai, and other cities all over the world to support local distributors and business partners.About the RoleThe General Manager of Swan Wine Group will be responsible for overseeing and leading the overall business operations in Australia. This role requires a strong strategic leader who can ensure business growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and alignment with Swan Wine Group's global objectives. The General Manager will spearhead the company's expansion and ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence throughout Australia, particularly in the Chinese market.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Business Planning:Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, market share, and profitability for the wine business, with a focus on the Chinese market.Align local operations with the global brand vision, concentrating on innovative products and market demands.Monitor market dynamics, especially trends in the Chinese market, to formulate appropriate market entry strategies.Ensure all business activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.Operational Oversight:Manage day-to-day operations, including wine production, supply chain management, marketing, and customer service.Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, sales forecasting, and expense management to meet financial targets.Ensure high levels of operational efficiency and maintain production standards to reflect the Swan Wine Group brand.Brand Management & Marketing:Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute local marketing campaigns that align with Swan Wine Group's global strategies, especially focusing on brand promotion in the Chinese market.Represent the company at official events, industry exhibitions, and public engagements to enhance brand visibility.Partner with local influencers, the hospitality industry, and distributors to boost brand recognition and relevance in the market.Lead new product development and marketing initiatives to ensure successful launches in the Chinese market.People Management:Lead and mentor senior managers and staff, fostering a high-performing team and positive workplace culture.Cultivate a strong company culture that embodies Swan Wine Group's commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.Oversee talent acquisition, training, and development to ensure the team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge.Key Qualifications and SkillsEducation background in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Wine Studies, or a related field.At least 10 years of senior management experience.In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market, particularly consumer behaviour and market dynamics.Proficient in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and operational management.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and inspire staff.Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, sales forecasting, and managing P&L statements.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to adapt global strategies to fit the local market while maintaining brand integrity.How to Apply:If you're excited about this opportunity, please send your resume and cover letter to ******.
