We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our veterinary hospital and drive our mission of delivering the highest standards of veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities Culture, People, and Team Leadership: Lead the team to ensure clear role responsibilities, a harmonious culture, and staff retention.Leadership and Planning: Foster a positive hospital culture based on site values, vision, and mission. Develop and implement site strategy and annual plans, focusing on innovation.Financial Accountability: Drive revenue increases while managing expenses within the budget. Oversee hospital expenditure, including capex requests and ROI calculations.Operations: Oversee daily hospital operations, including workflow, business functions, and staffing levels.Client Service, Business Development, and Marketing: Promote strong referral partner relationships with primary care hospitals, clinics, and surgeries.Regulatory Requirements: Ensure all necessary licenses are maintained and compliance with regulations. Manage records of medicines and adhere to relevant policies.Skills, Attributes, and Experience: Essential: Minimum five years' experience in a senior business management role.Qualifications in business management or human resource management.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large cohort of people, including employee relations, workforce planning, change management, and conflict resolution.Adept at change management (both personal and as a leader).Strategic-minded with the ability to envision and articulate clear and effective plans.Strong financial and accounting acumen.Experience in developing and meeting budgets.Experience in roster management.Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.Self-directed with strong time management skills.Desirable: Experience in the veterinary or healthcare industry.Knowledge of WH&S policies and regulatory requirements.Experience in marketing and business development.Familiarity with employee engagement and wellbeing programs.Demonstrated ability to critically analyze and interpret data.Ability to design systemic and repeatable solutions to address emerging issues.How To Apply: Sound Like you?
