We are seeking a General Manager to lead our next growth phase, including taking the systems required to support it to maturity. The role will report to the Board of Directors and their representative.The General Manager role is more than an operations role – it involves a lot of interaction with our team of young, dedicated, driven, and engaged tutors and admin staff that are the heart of ACE, and an understanding of the senior education and tuition market in NSW. It also requires a breadth of skills and abilities to oversee many aspects of this vibrant organisation.Requirements5+ years corporate leadership and management experience.Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, commerce, science, or engineering.Experience in managing teams and business operations.Professional industry experience in education (preferably in secondary schools, secondary tuition institutions or universities) will be highly regarded.ResponsibilitiesReporting line for tutor and admin teams, and key full time staff members.Organisation of classes, timetable, rostering.Management of internal/external accountants and completion of company monthly accounts.Engaging and managing all company contractors, including printing, marketing, accounts, and payroll.Implementation and rollout of new systems.Active contribution to driving the businesses growth strategy through the identification and communication of opportunities and the effective execution of strategic objectives.
