Job Description
Mount Isa has a great sense of community with many sporting and recreation activities on offer which make the city lifestyle focused. Located in the heart of town, with spectacular views of the city and mine, ibis Styles Mount Isa features 57 recently refurbished guest rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and Italian restaurant, Giuseppe's Cantina. Attracting both business and leisure guests, the property also has two meeting and event spaces.
We are looking for a motivated people person to take the reins and provide leadership to the small team of hospitality professionals.Reporting to the Vice President Operations Western Australia and Tasmania, you will be exposed to a highly diverse role with 'hands on' accountability for the Hotels Financial, Sales, Human Resources andCorporate Social Responsibility activity.
Key Responsibilities: Required to recruit, integrate, develop and coach a small but strong teamAbility to add value to the Accor network building strong brand and customer loyaltyConsistent and responsible approach to cost controlContinuous improvement in regards to product and service qualityRequired to initiate, lead and manage capital expenditure projectsAbility to make high level commercial decisions based on a consultative approach with the support teamQualifications
If you are interested in this role you will have: Previous experience as a Senior Head of Department or General Manager.Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to interpret and draw conclusions from financial documents with easeDemonstrated ability to develop team members and engage employees at all levels.A thorough knowledge of all hotel operationsInnovative approach and strong drive for resultsAdditional Information
