Known for delivering tailored solutions to customers, the company is currently seeking a strategic second-in-command (2IC) who will eventually step into the General Manager role as the current owner plans to transition out of the day-to-day operations. Role Objective: The General Manager / 2IC will work closely with the owner to lead the company's sales and operational growth while ensuring the business remains profitable and efficient.
This role requires someone who is highly results-driven, with a focus on increasing sales and profitability in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Focus on generating revenue, expanding the client base, and achieving business growth in tangible ways. Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the owner to implement growth strategies in the automotive and industrial tools markets.
Identify opportunities for new business while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Sales & Business Development: Play a central role in growing sales, particularly in the automotive and industrial sectors.
This role requires hands-on involvement in business development, with a focus on building strong, long-term client relationships. Operational Oversight: Oversee daily business operations, ensuring they run efficiently and cost-effectively.
Hands-On Management: Be a thinker and a doer, actively involved in the daily functions of the business.
The successful candidate will take ownership of business outcomes not delegate responsibility. Strategic Thinker and Doer: Needs to be both a forward-thinking strategist and hands-on executor, willing to take ownership of challenges and lead from the front. Long-Term Vision: The ideal candidate will be committed to a long-term role, with the goal of taking over as General Manager, allowing the current owner to step back over time. Experience with Smaller Businesses: Ideally, the candidate will come from a smaller business background or have experience in a family-owned business environment, with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and get involved at all levels. Desirable Experience: Automotive and Industrial Tools Background: Experience in the automotive or industrial tools industry is highly desirable, with an understanding of the technical aspects of these sectors and their client needs. Family Business Experience: Experience working in or managing a family-owned business is highly desirable, as is the ability to maintain the company's values and approach while contributing fresh perspectives. Hands-On Leadership: The ideal candidate should have a hands-on management style, willing to engage in all areas of the business, from sales to operations.
