The Travelodge Hotel Melbourne Docklands is currently recruiting an experienced and passionate General Manager.
Offering 291 rooms, conference facilities (up to 85 delegates) and centrally located, Travelodge is just five minutes' walk from Melbourne's CBD, and adjacent to Southern Cross Station.
Exciting attractions such as Marvel Stadium (Formally Etihad Stadium), Crown Casino and Melbourne Aquarium are all nearby.

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) ….
Oversee the daily operations and performance of the hotel including all departments and team members, ensuring smooth running and exemplary guest service.
Preparing and reviewing budgets and forecasts, managing and chasing debtors, overseeing orders and conducting audits.
Partnering with Sales, Revenue and Marketing, to build an annual business plan and actively monitor and revise it based on hotel performance.
About You….
Experience: A proficient leader with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience managing a complex, medium to large-scale property (300+ rooms) with conferencing.
Exceptional financial acumen .
Proven experience with revenue management .
Demonstrated achievements in delivering growth results in hotels and driving revenue .
Previous experience working in a centralised hotel management model.
Solid and proven experience managing owner/stakeholder relationships with strong negotiation skills.
An inspirational leader managing teams, building culture and developing talent pipelines.
Strong understanding of Corporate Sales .
High standards of attention to detail and strong communication (written & verbal).
Excellent grooming and personal presentation.
Full permanent Working Rights in Australia.
Certifications (currently hold): Approved Managers Licence.
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
"Provide First Aid" Certification (HLTAID0003 Provide First Aid or similar).
