We are seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the day to day running of this incredible business. You'll lead a talented, multi-disciplinary team of sales, property management, and holiday management professionals. Lead, manage, and inspire a large team of sales agents, property managers, and holiday management staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment that encourages professional growth, accountability, and teamwork. In collaboration with the Board, develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and market share, with a focus on optimizing service delivery, improving operational efficiency, and achieving financial goals. Set clear goals for the team and provide regular performance feedback. Promote best practices across all areas of the business to ensure high standards in sales, property management, and customer service. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive team culture. Drive employee engagement through effective communication, team-building activities, and professional development initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, landlords, vendors, and other key stakeholders. Ensure exceptional service delivery and uphold the agency's reputation within the local community. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring efficiency across all departments. Implement systems and processes to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and enhance profitability. Stay current with market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations to ensure the agency remains competitive and compliant with legal requirements. The Person The ideal candidate for the role of General Manager will have:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential real estate, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management position. Proven experience in leading large teams and driving business growth in a real estate agency setting. Strong understanding of sales, property management, and holiday management operations would be ideal. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and engage a team. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and business strategy.
