General Manager

Position: General Manager - Full Time Permanent About the Role: In this pivotal role reporting to the General Manager of BEAK Engineering, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a thriving business.
You will manage a range of responsibilities, including business development, project delivery, cost control, safety compliance, financial oversight, and staff management.

Key Responsibilities: Management of all operations : Oversee day-to-day business functions and streamline production operations.
Procurement and Inventory Management: Review, monitor and approve spend and stockholding levels.
Project Management : Lead project delivery, manage cost control, and safety compliance.
Financial Management : Responsible for the management and achievement of the Ausnets division budgets and forecasts.
Staff Management : Recruit, train, and continuously develop a small team, to promote a positive work environment.
Process Improvement : Develop and enhance company processes and systems.
Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, respond to Tender requests.
Strategic Planning : Collaborate with the senior management team on business planning strategies.
Qualifications & Experience: Management experience in a trades focused industry.
Strong skills in production management and business development.
Effective communication and leadership skills.
A direct, pragmatic approach.
Processes and systems development skills.
Ability to think strategically and grow business.
