We are seeking an experienced executive with a proven track record in health, safety, environment, and compliance (HSEC) sectors to lead and implement key initiatives from our Head Office based in Bunbury. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of managing organisational systems, processes, procedures, and programs.
Reporting to the CEO and as an important member of the leadership team, you will work to further develop the HSEC strategy to align with key business objectives and lead its implementation. Through coaching, guidance, and governance activities, we expect you to partner and connect with operational managers and clients to simplify ways of working and improve risk management and performance outcomes for sustainable business values while leading a dedicated team of multi-disciplined professionals.
As a leader in our organisation, you will be crucial in ensuring that our divisional leadership teams adhere to legislative and company requirements and maintain a zero-harm environment. Lead and drive our culture with the critical attributes of: Sense of Urgency Strive to Succeed Respecting Others' Time Individual Accountability Supported by the Team Key Responsibilities Further develop the HSEC management strategies and implementations Provide operational advice and mentoring on HSEC obligations and duties Ensure business compliance with industry, local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations Develop and maintain HSEC systems and platforms Drive simplified and effective safe working procedures Oversee workers' compensation and RTW programs Lead and manage HSEC metrics and reporting for learning and continuous improvement Assist with tenders, contracts, and develop and lead positive client relationships Assist in the delivery of the organisational environmental, social and governance strategy Monitor and measure environmental factors to reduce the impact of emissions Lead and facilitate all incident reporting and investigations to determine contributing factors and root cause Manage the drug and alcohol testing program across all business units Drive organisational change in a fast-growing business Lead and develop the HSEC team to ensure best practice delivery Identify opportunities to continuously improve performance, recording and reporting systems and processes.
