Culture fit is very important, looking for someone who is hungry to succeed and grow.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and execute the strategic vision for Technology, Data & Cyber SecurityProvide executive leadership of Technology & Data team to maintain, develop and implement enterprise systems that drive and support core business functions and provide effective, efficient and secure systemsProviding thought leadership to customers for technology/data/securityBringing an understanding and desire to implement emerging technologies such as GenAIOversee management of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring robustness, security, and compliance with regulatory standardsDeveloping and building a lean but high performing team that enable the business to improve through technology and dataCultivate a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and collaborationProvide strategic guidance and recommendations to the senior leadership on IT investments and opportunitiesMaintain and improve cybersecurity and data protection measures to safeguard digital assets and sensitive informationEnsure effective change management around IT initiatives with a focus on training for staffKey Areas of FocusData - mostly from a transformational lens - improving the data platform and data management/governanceTechnology - broad range of systems across cloud and infra, investment technology, etcCyber Security - ensuring the business improves its cyber resilience and is in line with regulatory requirements (ASIC / APRA)Key RequirementsExperience in Investments or Wealth/Fund ManagementExperience in all 3 of Technology, Data, Cyber SecurityExperience in fast paced environments where you're expected to wear different hatsExperience working with the regulatorsExperience working in lean environments where you have rolled up the sleeves when requiredPrevious roles at Head Of or General Manager level with the above experienceThis role can be based in either Melbourne or Sydney.We are expecting a high level of applications.
