The Opportunity
Reporting to the Regional CEO, the General Manager Aged Care will be responsible for leading and optimising the performance of Calvary's aged care offering across Victoria, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and service that aligns with Calvary's values.
This position is focused on delivering exceptional care and service aligned with Calvary's mission and values, while ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes, employee wellbeing, and sustainable business performance.
The key areas of responsibility for the role include:
Leading a high-performing team of Home Managers, fostering a positive culture aligned with Calvary's mission and values, and supporting career development, recruitment, and employee wellbeing across the portfolio.Ensuring delivery of exceptional care and service, promoting a patient-focused approach, driving quality improvements, and maintaining a "Zero Harm" philosophy for residents, staff, and the environment.Identifying and managing business risks and growth opportunities, overseeing operational impacts of capital works, and implementing innovative strategies to enhance service delivery and stakeholder engagement.Developing and implementing business plans to achieve financial performance targets, optimising occupancy and revenue streams, and managing costs while maintaining high standards of care and compliance.About You
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader with a proven ability to drive operational excellence.
With a strong strategic mindset and commitment to upholding Calvary's mission and values, you will inspire teams, address challenges effectively, and deliver high standards of care and service across a diverse and geographically dispersed portfolio of homes.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of leadership in aged care or related industries, complemented by expertise in relevant operational frameworks and funding models, business improvement and financial management.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and outcomes.
A commitment to safety, risk management, and fostering partnerships is essential, alongside a hands-on approach that includes a commitment to regional travel.
Your ability to align operations with strategic priorities, inspire innovation, and maintain a focus on the people Calvary serves will be critical to success in this role.
