About the job
Lead the charge in Australian agriculture as General Manager for two dynamic and growing divisions of a leading Australian manufacturer. This is your chance to shape the future of the business, driving sales, optimising operations, and expanding into new markets.
As General Manager, you will oversee the sales, marketing, and operations of both the agricultural parts and aftermarket automotive accessories divisions. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets and expand market share across Australia. This will involve building and managing a diverse team across multiple locations, fostering a culture of collaboration and customer focus.
You will also drive operational efficiency and optimise the supply chain to ensure timely delivery of products and services. This includes working closely with the manufacturing teams to streamline processes and increase throughput.
A key part of this role is identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, including expanding into new regions and customer segments. You will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute a growth strategy that ensures the company's offerings are tailored to the needs of these new markets.
What You'll Bring: Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience in senior management roles, with a strong background in sales and operations Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of the agricultural or aftermarket automotive sectors, with experience in manufacturing or distribution Business Acumen: Proven ability to drive profitability and manage budgets Operational Excellence: Expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and operational efficiency Sales & Marketing: Strong understanding of sales strategies, marketing techniques, and customer relationship management Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships About the location
The business is headquartered in regional NSW, however the successful candidate can perform this role from anywhere with quick access to a major airport. Toowoomba, Tamworth, Wagga Wagga, or similar would be the ideal locations. Regular domestic travel can be expected for this position.
