About the role We are looking for a versatile General Labourer/Operator/Driver to join our team at Compact Property Services in Burton SA 5110.
This is a casual position/s on probation with ongoing work available, and full-time employment available if suited to the position. We are committed to training and professional development of further skills. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of work and tasks to conduct.
What you'll be doing Performing general labouring tasks such as rubbish removal and light demolition - removal of structures, sheds, interior demolitions, concrete removal - assisting with conducting these tasks and the operation of equipment usedPerform tasks under earth works (use of machinery for site works, levelling, filling etc.), supply and spread of materials (loam, gravel etc.), and also garden maintenance (grass cutting, pruning, vegetation removal etc.)Operating light machinery and vehicles as required to conduct work, and assisting alongside the operatorsParticipating in a range of tasks including site preparation, demolition, removals, and yard maintenance workWorking collaboratively with the team to ensure works are completed efficiently and to a high standardMaintaining a safe and tidy work environment by following all health and safety proceduresWhat we're looking for Previous experience in a similar labourer or operator role, highly preferredWhite Card, National Police Check and WWCC gainedGood physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasksReliability, and strong communication skills to working as part of a teamConfidence to undertaking work, and asking questions when neededWhat we offer Competitive pay ratesOpportunities for skills development and progressionA friendly and supportive team environment About us Compact Property Services is a leading provider of property maintenance and demolition services, operating for over 30 years.
