The Role The successful candidate will be a member of the General Insurance team working closely with partners and other solicitors. We are looking for a commercially astute and technically solid Associate/Senior Associate experienced in General Insurance work. This is a varied role, with a focus on all aspects of insurance for clients including general liability, property, construction, D&O, professional indemnity and medical negligence. You will also have plenty of business development opportunities.
The General Insurance team offer highly responsive legal services for insurers, self-insurers, statutory authorities and corporations, one that is both results driven and highly cost efficient. We have developed a strong reputation in the Australian insurance industry and are well positioned to provide legal advice in all insurance matters throughout Australia.
About You Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years post admission experience in General Insurance. This position is suited to a team player who is highly organized and motivated, with a collaborative work ethic. You will also have outstanding client management skills and dedication to providing excellent service to the clients. To be successful in this position you will need exceptional attention to detail and experience working on a high volume of matters. You should have the ability to manage matters with minimal supervision and the ability to be proactive.
