The General Accountant/Accounting Administrator will be responsible for finance and accounting functions at the Dayton, WA facility, under the supervision of the Director of Finance.
Expected Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour (approximately $52k to $62k per year), depending upon skills and experience.
Responsibilities: Providing support to the Plant Controller. Providing support and backup to the Purchasing Agent. Processing payroll accurately and timely. Performing accounting assignments with precision and efficiency. Coding and entering AP invoices. Preparing General Journal entries. Copying and/or scanning documents. Preparing and distributing interoffice and external mail. Preparing weekly check runs. Answering phones and greeting visitors. Backing up other team members; cross-training on responsibilities. Other duties as assigned or required by Management. Qualifications: Ability and willingness to function in a team environment. Strong communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance. Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel   Education and Experience: Associate degree in Accounting preferred, but equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
