The General Manager'sposition is a "hands on", working role, with responsibilities including; ·Day to daymanagement of all areas of the Club's operations ·Lead, manage andoverseeing the financial management and reporting of the Club ·Providemeaningful and accurate reporting to the Board of management ·Managing andnurturing your team to continual success ·Communicatingprofessionally with suppliers, stakeholders, and patrons The successful candidatewill meet the following criteria: •Demonstratedexperience at a high level in the hospitality industry •Have a soundknowledge and experience in gaming, catering, bar, bistro, and club operations •Possessoutstanding business ethics and integrity •Demonstrate theability to lead and motivate effective teams to maintain the level ofexcellence that the incumbent General Manager has set •Be conversantwith the regulatory and "best practice" requirement relevant to the operationsof a licensed club •Ability tooperate the business in accordance with community aspirations and expectations •Be a visiblemanager who is present and shows genuine care for people and the business •Take advantage ofopportunities, including relevant innovative measures, to enhance the visitorexperience and improve the position of the business •Hold, or be in aposition to obtain, relevant legislative licenses and nominations •Be comfortableworking at a higher level as well as being "hands on" in the day to dayoperation of the business •Workcollaboratively with the Board of management and implement policy anddirectives The Board of management arelooking forward to hearing from candidates who meet the criteria and can seethis as an excellent opportunity to join a successful club and become part ofthe local community.
