Primary Objective: Support the strategic direction and leadership of the Aboriginal Interpreter Service throughout the Northern Territory and nationally to agencies and organisations committed to bi-lingual communication. Provide leadership with the ability to harness and maximise opportunities to contribute towards effective recruitment and retention of Aboriginal Interpreters living in regional and remote areas throughout the Northern Territory.
