The Role
As the Senior Software Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions within the organization. You will collaborate closely with the Software Solutions Architect, Team Leader, and other developers to deliver high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to architectural discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of complex features and enhancements using C# and .NET 8, including WebAPI and MVC frameworks. Implement coding best practices to ensure clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Solve complex problems through innovative solutions and approaches. Work alongside the Software Solutions Architect to contribute to architectural design and strategy. Provide technical mentorship to junior developers. Act as a key contributor in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards. Maintain and enhance existing systems in production, quickly addressing bugs and performance issues. Participate in the continuous improvement of system stability and efficiency. Design and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and indexes. Collaborate with the Solutions Architect and team members to ensure scalable and secure solutions. Utilize expertise in AWS services for developing scalable and secure applications. Implement load balancing solutions and maintain strong security practices. Stay current with emerging tools, frameworks, and industry best practices. Document technical designs, development processes, and system functionalities thoroughly. Follow the organization's development policies and coding standards. Your Experience
To be successful in this role you will have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. You will have strong experience in a similar role with extensive development experience in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
You will have advanced knowledge of AWS services, particularly ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudfront, Cloudformation and AWS WAF. You will have extensive experience with Windows Server environments and configuring IIS.
Strong soft skills and the ability to engage with a broad range of business and technology stakeholders are essential. You will possess a high level of energy, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
