Let's talk about the roles and responsibilitiesWe're looking for a talented Senior GCP Engineer - Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us build scalable, efficient, and cutting-edge data solutions using Google Cloud Platform.
Responsibilities:Design and implement advanced data pipelines on GCP with BigQuery and DataForms.Collaborate with teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.Optimize BigQuery performance and manage cost-effective data storage.Develop and maintain workflows in DataForms to enhance data orchestration.Ensure data accuracy and integrity through robust transformation and integration processes.Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure to maintain seamless operations.Partner with cross-functional teams to build secure, scalable data platforms.Document and share best practices to drive organizational knowledge growth.Required Experience:Proven expertise in GCP with a focus on BigQuery and DataForms.Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex query tuning.Familiarity with GCP tools such as Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Composer.Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and pipeline development.Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.Solid understanding of cloud-based data architecture and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.Nice to Have:GCP Professional Data Engineer certification or equivalent.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud DevOps practices.Knowledge of data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.Familiarity with Apache Beam or similar frameworks.About CapgeminiAt Capgemini, we are more than just a business; we are a diverse global collective of strategic and technological experts who are passionate about finding ways technology can help our clients, our people, and our communities get the future they want.
