About the role We are currently seeking applications for a Support Worker specialising in Gardening & Home Maintenance.
The role is based in Kwinana and provides services to customers in the surrounding areas.
The purpose of this role is to provide gardening and maintenance services to seniors and NDIS customers to help them stay in their own homes longer.
Essential Requirements: Previous experience in gardening is required;Fantastic customer service skills;Providing support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities;A team player;Good communication skills are written, interpersonal and verbal;Basic computer and paperwork skills;A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;Willing and able to keep up with the demands of the physical demands of a gardening role;Willing and able to work across other services to spend time with customers (this may include domestic assistance, social support, group activities)A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential;Prerequisites A NDIS Worker Screening CheckCurrent Western Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictionsYour ownvehicleRightsto work in AustraliaCurrent First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)How to Apply: Please submit your application online and include your current resumé.
