About the role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Leading Hand - Gardener to join our team at Favgrow pty ltd in Richmond, VIC. As a full-time role, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the beautiful gardens and landscapes we manage across the local area.
What you'll be doing Oversee and coordinate a small team of gardeners to ensure all gardens, and landscapes are maintained to the highest standardsPerform a range of gardening duties such as mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, and plantingOperate and maintain various gardening equipment and machineryLiaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert adviceMonitor, maintain, and repair irrigation systems as neededEnsure all work is completed to schedule.Mentor and train junior gardeners to develop their skillsAdhere to all safety protocols and environmentally sustainable practicesWhat we're looking for Several years of experience as a Gardening professionalStrong leadership and supervisory skills to effectively manage a teamExcellent knowledge of horticulture, plant species, and landscaping techniquesProficient in the use of a wide range of gardening tools and equipmentAbility to work independently as well as part of a collaborative teamA keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workCurrent manual driver's licenceKnowledge of workplace health and safety regulationsWhat we offer Competitive salaryOpportunities for career progression and skills developmentAccess to company vehicles and equipment.Supportive and friendly team environmentAbout us Favgrow pty ltd is a leading provider of premium gardening services.
