Job details Gardener - Local Council Work Adelaide, SA (Western Suburbs) Until January 2025 46.19 per hour + penalties 9-day fortnight, Day shift only (6:30am - 3:30pm) WorkPac is seeking a qualified gardener.
You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing parks, gardens, and streets across the community, ensuring they meet Council's Parks & Arboriculture Maintenance Guidelines.
What You Will Be Doing - Perform horticultural maintenance activities, including planting, pruning, and mowing.
- Operate machinery and motorized tools as per Local Government standards.
- Assist in daily operations alongside the Workgroup Leader and Coordinator Horticulture.
- Maintain a safe work environment, actively identifying and managing risks.
- Interact positively with the public and provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute to a team approach across different field services.
What You Will Need - Current MR Licence - Certificate III in Horticulture **Desirable Qualifications:** - White Card - Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM) - First Aid Certificate Whats In it for you?
