Dymocks Children's Charities is an independent, Australia-wide charity that provides brand new books to disadvantaged children across Australia. Our mission is to promote a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes for disadvantaged children in Australia. Job Description As the Fundraising & Events Coordinator, you will support the Charities fundraising initiatives, events and campaigns at both local and national levels. You will manage Dymocks stores fundraising campaigns and assist the team with maintaining whilst nurturing new and existing donor, volunteer and community relationships. Reporting to the Fundraising & Events Lead, you will: Support the Fundraising team in executing the overall communications plan, engagement initiatives and activities. Coordinate fundraising initiatives and campaigns encompassing community, schools, events, and appeals. Coordinate and support activities relating to ongoing and new DCC events, including the annual gala dinner. Procure donations of prizes and gifts to support fundraising events and activities. Cultivate and manage relationships with Dymocks store, overseeing fundraising initiatives and campaigns. Provide essential support across fundraising, events and administrative functions. Engage with internal departments and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives. Input and maintain donor data into CRM (Salesforce), to support fundraising efforts effectively.

Desired Skills and Experience The Ideal Candidate will have: Minimum one year's experience in fundraising, events, or community engagement within the charity or not-for-profit sector. Proficiency in creating compelling presentations for sponsors and events. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities independently and collaboratively. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, focused team. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills with a proven ability to establish and nurture relationships. Exceptional levels of written and verbal communication. Passion for social justice and helping children in need.
