genU has an exciting opportunity for a Funding Administrator to join our newly established Performance, Quality & Client Experience Division!
The Performance, Quality & Client Experience Division focuses on ensuring our clients have the best experience of genU's services. This includes ensuring compliance and maintenance of our high-quality standards across genU and driving a culture of continuous improvement!
The Funding Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the Business Unit by assisting the day to day operational and business procedures of the aged care team relating to funding received and reconciliation of balance. You will assist in overseeing all funding aspects working closely with the operational teams.
Accountabilities of the Funding Administrator include:
Coordinate clients with government portals from onboarding to exit process
Ensure funding is clarified and entered into relevant recording systems such as Carelink
Comply and adhere to organisational Policy and Procedures, work instructions, State and Commonwealth requirements.
Assist in the development and review of processes to ensure all business transactions are timely and accurate with direct report
Assist direct report to ensure client exit process is timely and accurate. This includes follow up of all pending services for final claim and any unspent fund returned to the department/client.
Assist direct report with the monthly claim preparation to ensure it is lodged accurately and within the legislative timeframe (subject to timing of internal payroll)
Ensure monthly client statement delivery is timely and privacy risks are managed in conjunction with direct report.
About You
As the Funding Administrator you will be able to demonstrate the following:
Knowledge and experience in the scheduling of client related funding and expenditure
Successful experience in coordinating responsive individualised support to operational team
Sound knowledge of HCP and CHSP related services
Experience in the use of IT systems including Carelink + or similar
Ability to prioritise and effectively manage workload
Experience in coordinating HCP funding
NDIS Screening Workers Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
