Fund Accountant

They are currently seeking a Fund Accountant to join their dynamic team in Sydney.

What you'll do:
Maintain the fund reporting systemManage liquidity of fundsReview fund expenses, drawdowns and distributionsPrepare all investor, financial and ad hoc reporting, fund analysis and deal with regulatory reportingRespond to external investor queries, including oversight of investor portalAssist with the submission of information to tax advisors in relation to fund tax reporting requirementsAssist with annual fund auditsPerform ongoing and ad hoc analysis of fund performance, calculation of fund IRR's, carried interest and other fund performance measuresParticipate in the implementation of new funds, including investor onboardingLiaise with the corporate accounting team, ensuring smooth data flow between fund and corporate entities
What you bring:
Fully Qualified (CA/ACCA/CPA) accountantAt least 3 years' experience working with investment funds in-houseUnderstanding of fund structures, fund governing documents, investor reporting and taxExperience in managing internal and external stakeholder relationshipsExcellent technical accounting knowledge and skillsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerpointPro-active self-starter; Articulate with strong communication skillsAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
