Salary range for this opportunity: $112,112 – $130,798 + 17% superannuationGenerous personal, annual and parental leave, annual leave loadingFlexible working arrangements Flexible Work PolicyStructured wellbeing and career development programsDiscounts in private health insurance, gym memberships, software, travel, and moreAbout the Role: Reporting to the Associate Director – Corporate Accounting and Treasury, you will lead a team of two to deliver high-quality accounting reporting and expert advice to the University in relation to accounting for its significant portfolio of property, plant & equipment (PP&E), intangible assets, and leases, in a TechnologyOne environment.
You will:
Oversee and maintain the Fixed Asset Register.Coordinate asset valuation activities, developing effective relationships with stakeholders across the University.Provide support for any finance system upgrades and implementation.In collaboration with the broader finance team, prepare the capital elements to support the Long-Term Financial Plan, Annual Budget, and Periodic Forecasts.Provide expert technical knowledge in relation to the application of Australian Accounting Standards and best practice approaches to accounting for assets.Deliver month-end and year-end close procedures, including statutory reporting.Drive continuous improvement in reporting, accounting, and general ledger practices.Be involved with a range of interesting projects as a subject matter expert.About You: To succeed in this role you will:
