This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $75,000 and the opportunity to make a significant impact on our growing business.About Us:Boathouse Centre Launceston is a premier function venue located in the heart of Launceston, Tasmania.
We host a variety of events, from corporate functions to weddings and social gatherings, providing outstanding service and unforgettable experiences.Key Responsibilities:Operations Management:

Oversee the ordering of supplies, manage event setup and pack down, supervise event execution, and maintain a clean, organized function centre.Staff Leadership & Management:

Train, guide, and manage a dedicated team to ensure top-tier performance and service standards.Event Management:

Ensure smooth event operations, resolve issues swiftly, and exceed client expectations.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Maintain fully stocked bars and timely setup for all events.Ensure clear communication of event proceedings to the team.Review all event orders (EOs) at least one week prior to each event.Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the function centre.Ensure all equipment and building maintenance is up to date.Conduct staff training sessions fortnightly, fostering ongoing development.Deliver exceptional customer and staff satisfaction, aiming for top ratings.About You:Has excellent organizational and time management skills.Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple tasks with ease.Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.Is detail-oriented, ensuring nothing is overlooked in event preparation and execution.Has a passion for providing exceptional customer service.Is proactive and takes initiative to solve problems and improve operations.Why Join Us?At Boathouse Centre Launceston, we are committed to fostering a positive, supportive work environment.
