Make a meaningful difference with us: UnitingCare Queensland is seeking an experienced Functional Analyst to join our Finance Systems & Innovations team.
The purpose of this role is to ensure the ongoing effective and efficient Functional Systems support for core financial systems. You will provide recommendations on sustainable system solutions as well as train and mentor others in the Finance team to uplift skills and capability.
Please note, this is a permanent position based in Brisbane. Your part in our UnitingCare team: Provide system support required to complete financial accounts, statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliationsUpdate complex pricing contracts for private Health fund agreementsReview and recommend impacts on integrated payment and claiming systems across the Health portfolioDevelop business solutions and designs for BFS accounting processes including GL, AR, AR, Assets, Projects and reportingInvestigation of complex business and functionality issuesWork with functional experts/BU subject matter experts to validate and verify data and processes.Provide advice and support in Data Analysis and Analytics principles and practicesParticipate in Data Governance frameworkPerform data mapping activities between Financial, CRM, HR and other enterprise systemsDesign security model and grant user access within the ERP systemsSupport Month end close processing across GL, AR, AR, Assets, Projects and reportingResearching functional impact of patches/releases/ upgrades/maintenance packs to assess impact on current system and processesDefine technical development required within AX09 or other core financials systemsDefine UAT test cases for financial processesResearching and identifying innovative business process end to end solutionsAnalyse and resolve financial operational issue with AX09Providing SME functionality insights into the design of new reporting and process requirements also advice on interface design and maintenance What makes a difference for us? Tertiary qualification in information technology or financial software applicationsCA/CPA would be advantageousKnowledge of Basware System would be advantageousExperience in a Functional Analyst\Systems Accounting role in a large organisation working on the AX09 platform.
