Full-Time Motor Mechanic

Singh Automobile Services Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Salary Range – $65,000 to $75,000
Business Location – 10 PURSUE WAY, Pakenham VIC 3810
Duties and Responsibilities Diagnosing and detecting faults in engines and parts with the assistance of computerized and other electronic equipment.Testing and adjusting/tuning mechanical parts after being repaired for proper and better performance.Carrying out repairs and/or maintenance as per the repair order and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components.Courteously dealing with customers and suppliers dailyPerforming scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance withpollution regulationsReassembling engines and parts after being repairedInspecting vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates or detail work required to achieve road worthinessDismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components.Skills and qualifications AQF Certificate III including at least two years on the job training, or AQF certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) Preferred Certificate III or IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and Diploma of Automotive Technology (or equivalent or higher trade qualifications)Ability to work full time (38 hours per week)Demonstrated passion about the automotive industryFlexible availability for working additional hours on rotating roster as per the requirements of the business.Attention to detail and ability to solve problems.
