Benefits: No joining feesResume and Key Selection Criteria assistanceInterview tips and preparation providedProfessional development by two Principal mentors on a consistent basis.About the Role: We are recruiting for a Cert III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to work in an excellent Early Learning Centre, attached to a Grammar school in Armadale.
The centre also offers a monthly RDO, five weeks annual leave (pro rata for part time staff), quality resources, professional development and an excellent staff/child ratio.
Key duties: Support Team Leaders and other Educators to implement and evaluate play-based learning experiences in partnership with families; in accordance with the ELYF and NQF.Work collaboratively with a team of educators to implement a program that places importance on care and education.Contribute to the overall effective operation of the Child Care Service.Successfully liaise with all stakeholders; children, families, staff and external agencies.Demonstrate a professional level of written and verbal communication skills.Skills & Experience: Completed a relevant Qualification in Early Childhood Education (Cert III/Diploma in ECE).Current Working With Children Check (Employee).Experience working in Long Day Care with a sound knowledge of EYLF and NQF.Understanding of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy.Current Food Handling, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Mandatory Reporting (or willingness to obtain).Police Check (or willingness to obtain).Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student teacher mentors are acceptable).Desired Skills & Experience: Previous experience working in Long Day Care with a range of ages 0-5.Why work with Tradewind?
