CTS People are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of heavy lift and haulage solutions throughout Australia. Our client is known for delivering exceptional service across multiple industries, including renewable energy, construction, mining, and infrastructure. They are seeking skilled Crane and Transport Mechanics to join their team and contribute to their continued success.

The Role We are recruiting experienced Crane and Transport Mechanics to work at our clients Perth facility, with occasional travel required for projects across Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a fleet of advanced cranes and transport vehicles, ensuring the efficient operation of key projects.

Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on cranes and transport vehicles. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, ensuring that all work complies with relevant safety regulations and standards. Collaboration with project managers and engineers will be essential to optimizing equipment performance. You will also be expected to maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements for Success: To succeed in this role, you will need an Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate and proven experience working as a Crane and/or Transport Mechanic. A current Australian driver's license, with HR preferred, is required. You must have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. A commitment to safety and quality is crucial, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You must have valid working rights in Australia and be able to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screening.
