Job Title: Full-Stack Engineer (MarTech)Contract Role: 6-month contract with an option to extend Location: Melbourne - 1 day in the office Are you passionate about software engineering, data and technology?We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in driving our Marketing Technology (Martech) initiatives.In this role, you'll bring your technical expertise, critical thinking, and attention to detail to become a trusted advisor for our team and stakeholders.You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the strategic design of our MarTech solutions. Working closely with solution designers, business analysts, product owners, UX designers, quality engineers, and engineering managers within an agile delivery environment.Key Responsibilities:Writing clean & robust code focusing on the backend and frontend hosted on the cloud. Provide guidance in the development, implementation and management of Martech systems, ensuring robust, secure, and maintainable solutions.Engage in end-to-end solution design and peer reviews, working across diverse teams including development, testing, security, and business management.Support the rollout of enterprise digital measurement by identifying and documenting business, technical, and reporting requirements.Analyse data to provide actionable recommendations that enhance website conversion rates, improve visitor engagement, and meet/exceed channel sales targets.Collaborate with development and technology teams to implement big data capture techniques and ensure seamless data integration across platforms.Write well-designed, high-quality, testable code and maintain software functionality with thorough documentation.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, ensuring compliance with project plans, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Create meaningful dashboards and reports to help stakeholders achieve their business objectives.About You:Full-Stack Development Java | JavaScript | SQL Scripting | Database Integrations5+ years with Marketing Technology with expertise in the Adobe Suite E.G. Analytics, Target, Audience Manager, AEP Marketing platform/Console, Tealium etc. A strong understanding of Visualisations & Analytics is highly regarded but not essentialDevelopment background with a strong understanding of Application Development, Digital Marketing, or a related field.Strong ETL skills (Scripting, Scheduling, Transforming, Loading, Preparation).Experience with cloud-based technologies and managed services (e.g., Azure, AWS, MADI).Backend technologies, RESTful JSON APIs, and microservices.If you're ready to take on a challenging new role we'd love to hear from you!
